Advanstar announced today that it will be reducing its semi-annual MAGIC marketplace apparel exhibition, the country’s largest fashion-industry tradeshow, from four days down to three days starting in August 2008.
Having just completed its winter conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Hilton on February 12-15, the move indicates a slowing of the economy and need to consider budgets of exhibitors, attendees, and show management.In the past years, the event drew over 4,000 exhibitors and 120,000 total attendees[.....]
