Skin Industries is known for its edgy designs that speak to the individual. It started 11 years ago as a Freestyle Motorcross (FMX) brand, and within two months it was the number one FMX brand. Skin also had huge overflow into the Supercross and Motorcross industries and soon it took off on everyone. I had the pleasure of speaking with the charming David Bocerello at the Skin Industries booth at MAGIC.
Bocerello explained that although Skin started as a FMX brand,[.....]

There has been a long standing battle in the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fashion between two industry heavyweights; TapouT and Affliction. Forgive me for putting both names in the same sentence since the bitter rival between the two brands have caused enough heated discussion alone to garner its own pay-per-view event between friends and athletes choosing sides, but at this year’s MAGIC Marketplace Conference all was settled. TapouT’s presence at MAGIC, the fashion conference that brings together anybody[.....]

I’m a silver kind of guy. I mean, the term “golden” is something you wish to aim for but me, I’m a silver and platinum guy. I love the way it looks and goes with anything. Nothing silver ever looks bad – seriously! And regardless of what you think about silver, by no means does it mean “second place”. I am a sucker for good advertising and when done well it brings the art form to another level all its own. And this time the winner is Adidas. The original kings of urban lifestyle fashion from way back in the day, Adidas has brought us so many fresh styles over the[.....]

Who wasn’t cooler than Marty McFly when he flew on that hovercraft in “Back To The Future”? Every kid in school wanted one and wanted to be like him. Also, we wanted the fly McFly gear – his shoes. The Nike designed high-tops that McFly sported in “Back To The Future” – known as The Marty McFly 2015’s Nike Hyperdunks will be re-released this year.
Is this what the future holds? If so, then sign me on. I mean there are[.....]

Nike has just signed Ohio State center Greg Oden to a multimillion dollar deal that they believe will turn over many millions for them. Oden had been touted as one of the elite players in the NCAA, which made him the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Trail Blazers. With so much hype already surrounding the 7 foot giant, I can’t wait to see what Nike has planned for his future.

However, it’s easy to see that[.....]
